My name is McKinna Bullock and I am a senior at Concordia University Irvine majoring in communication studies. I grew up in the Huntington/Newport Beach area, which is why it is the city I chose to represent. I decided to begin the process of getting my real estate license because of all the opportunities that are in this area. I decided that if I get started now, by the time I graduate I would be able to work in a real estate firm as a realtor, rather than just an intern. Since making this decision, I have completed half of my real estate course and I am set to take the state test in January in order to be licensed by May.

Straight out of high school I started to work as a waitress in a restaurant. This job prepared me with a set of skills that will translate perfectly into this line of work. My communication and public presentation skills have improved tremendously since working in the restaurant industry and have prepared me to be an effective communicator in all situations. I believe that these skills give clients a sense of comfort, knowing that the realtor they choose will be able to handle situations of all kinds. While I would preferably enjoy the Newport area, I am always open to helping clients all over the state and eventually around the world.
